Privacy Policy

We run a small publication, not an advertising business. We collect as little as we can, we do not sell your data, and we do not run ad networks that follow you around the internet. This page says plainly what happens when you read us.

Nothing you have to give us. There is no account, no login, and no newsletter signup wall. You can read every page here without telling us who you are.

Our web host keeps standard server logs, which include your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. These exist for security and troubleshooting and are held by the host, not by us.

We do not currently run any third-party analytics on this site. No Google Analytics, no pixel, no heatmaps. If that ever changes, we will update this page and name exactly what we added.

This site serves its own typefaces from its own server, so opening a page does not hand your browser off to a font service or any other outside company. Apart from our web host, a normal page view here makes no third-party requests at all.

WordPress may set basic functional cookies. We do not set advertising or profiling cookies of our own.

Affiliate links are different, and worth understanding. When you click one, the destination retailer sets its own cookie so it can attribute a purchase to us. That cookie belongs to them, under their privacy policy, not ours.

Aggregate commission reports, and that is all. We do not see your name, your address, your payment details, or anything else in your cart. We cannot tell which individual reader bought what. How the commissions work is spelled out on our Affiliate Disclosure page.

If you email us, we keep the message so we can answer it. We will not add you to any mailing list without you asking, and we will not pass your address to anyone.

Our web host, which stores the site and its logs, and the retailers behind our affiliate links, for purchase attribution. That is the whole list.

Email healthspanmemo@gmail.com to ask what we hold about you or to have it deleted, and a person will answer. Because we collect so little, the answer is usually an email thread and nothing else.

This site is written for adults and is not directed at children.

If we change how any of this works, we will update the page and change the date at the top rather than quietly editing the record.
